Faith Formation
The mission of St. Michael Parish School is to provide ongoing educational formation in the context of Gospel values to students in preschool through eighth grade. We accomplish this goal through daily prayer, weekly children's liturgy, sacrament preparation, reconciliation, monthly rosary, student retreats, youth group, life teen group, and community service opportunities.Students are encouraged to live what they learn and be examples to one another and the community.
National ACRE Religion Test....
The ACRE test is administered annually to 5th and 8th graders in all parochial schools throughout WV. In 2011-12, St. Michael's 5th grade students were ranked first in the state for their ACRE scores, while our 8th graders were ranked fourth.
