Enrichment/Remediation

Mrs. Carole Kliner works with our enrichment and remediation program one day per week where she spends time working with individual students or small groups with math and reading enrichment. Through remediation, students are given that little “extra” instruction that is meant to help increase their proficiency in a particular skill area. Enrichment classes work on creative and critical thinking skills in both math and language arts. In order for a student to be eligible for enrichment they must be recommended by their teacher and display exceptional performance and responsibility in the classroom.

Mrs. Danielle Futey also works with our enrichment and remediation program five days per week in the afternoon. Having two resource teachers allows St. Michael Parish School to meet the diverse needs of our students both in the classroom and through this special program. Developing the gifts and talents of each student is our priority through our Enrichment and Remediation program.

For more detailed information about this program, please contact your child’s teacher and/or the principal.
